Back for year two with us, Introducing Wendi Miller!

Wendi started her equestrian journey at a very young age. She started out riding and showing western pleasure, horsemanship, halter, and showmanship. Her insatiable need for knowledge about horses grew over the years and she had the benefit of learning new disciplines including barrel racing, reining, and trail. She took time off other than trail riding and working her personal horses while in nursing school and becoming a mom. During this time she found a new love in therapeutic horsemanship and became an active volunteer (and later employee) at Equest. In 2020 after recovering from a nearly life ending accident and injury, Wendi came back to her love of barrel racing. She has been successful in winning Top 5 and Reserve champion buckles as well as winning checks in a gritty North Texas barrel racing community. Her goal is to qualify and be able to run at BBR Worlds while continuing to guide her young lesson students in the art and love of horsemanship.

Beginner lessons $55
Basic lessons begin with proper grooming, basic care, tacking up, walk/trot/lope

Horse tune ups $65
Bring your horse for a tune up! Basic riding tune up/ pattern work if needed!

Barrel racing $75
Barrel lessons include all basics such as warm up, proper riding at walk/trot/lope, basics going into the pattern, and working on the pattern in general!

I will soon be offering pole bending lessons as well! Stay tuned for that update🙌

Yall! We got a nice one up for grabs! Posting for a good friend of mine.

“Streak Happens” 2009 AQHA bay gelding stands about 16-16.2hh. Cruises a really nice barrel pattern and lightly started on poles! Streak has a huge motor in him snd has 1/2D potential with the right rider with more time and consistency! very smooth ride, walks trots and lopes fantastically, stands tied, stands for farrier, you name it he does it. Only vice is he has partial blindness in his right eye, but that doesn’t stop him from doing anything at all!
