Pets feel better at home, and so does pet care.

We bring care to your door. ๐Ÿพ

For some pets, the hardest part of the vet visit is not the exam.

It is everything before the exam.

The carrier battle.
The barking.
The shaking.
The pacing.
The โ€œI swear my cat has eight legs nowโ€ situation.

And for pet parents with busy schedules or multiple pets, one simple visit can turn into a whole production.

That is why our mobile services exist.

We built this for pet parents who want veterinary care to feel easier, calmer, and more practical, without sacrificing the trusted guidance their pet deserves.

Because convenience should not mean cutting corners.

It should mean making good care easier to say yes to.

Text or call us to ask about mobile veterinary care, and we will help you figure out the best next step for your pet.

What is the hardest part of getting your pet to the vet: the car, the carrier, the schedule, or the emotional side-eye?

๐ŸŽ€๐Ÿพ Meet Wink! ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽ€

This darling little lady stopped by Vet Near Me for a recheck after her spay surgery and a vaccine reaction. Weโ€™re happy to report that Wink is feeling much better and was far more interested in playing than being a patient! ๐Ÿ’•

While she was here, she discovered one of the greatest toys ever invented: a crinkly piece of paper. ๐Ÿ˜ธ Sometimes the simplest things bring the biggest joy, and Wink made sure our entire team smiled as she pounced, chased, and entertained herself around the exam room.

Weโ€™re always thrilled to see our patients feeling like themselves again after a health scare, and Wink certainly reminded us that a playful cat is often a happy cat.

Some pets do not just hear thunder. They feel unsafe. โ›ˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ’›

If your pet shakes, pants, paces, whines, hides, or becomes destructive during storms or fireworks, it can be heartbreaking to watch.

You try to comfort them.
You turn up the TV.
You sit with them.
You tell them it is okay.

But sometimes, they need more help than comfort alone can provide.

That is where we come in.

There are safe medication options that may help your pet feel calmer and more secure during thunderstorms and fireworks.

Text or call us today so we can help your pet before the next storm rolls through.
We are here to help protect their peace and yours too. ๐Ÿพ

Compassion starts with caring for our team.

Beginning June 1st, all FurWell locations will begin our temporary summer hours schedule, with all locations closing at 4pm through the end of August. โ˜€๏ธ

Every year, we make this adjustment for one very important reason: our team.

Veterinary medicine is incredibly rewarding, but it is also emotionally, mentally, and physically demanding work. Our doctors, technicians, assistants, client advocates, and support staff pour their hearts into caring for pets every single day โ€” often carrying the weight of difficult decisions, emergencies, long appointments, and emotional moments alongside the families we serve.

At FurWell, we believe deeply in work-life balance and protecting the people who make compassionate veterinary care possible.

These summer hours are one small way we can give our team a little more time to rest, recharge, spend time with family, and care for themselves the same way they care for your pets.

We are still happy to accommodate pet parents needing after-hours medication pickup or other special arrangements whenever possible โ€” we simply ask for a little communication ahead of time so we can help.

Thank you for supporting not only your local privately owned veterinary team, but also the humans behind the medicine.

Your kindness and understanding help us continue building a workplace centered around compassion, longevity, and exceptional care. โค๏ธ

Rabies cases are continuing to rise across South Carolina and unfortunately, the Upstate is not being spared.

This is a very real public health concern affecting pets, wildlife, livestock, and people in our own communities.

Please take a moment to read this recent report and understand why keeping your pet current on their rabies vaccine matters so much.

Then take action.

FurWell Veterinary Hospital and Vet Near Me Greenville will be hosting a Community Rabies Vaccine Event on Saturday, June 6th from 9amโ€“11am at 1240 E Butler Rd in Greenville.

Rabies vaccines will be offered for a minimum $5 donation benefiting Corona Muralis at Shepherdโ€™s Field .

If your pet is overdue โ€” or if you arenโ€™t sure โ€” now is the time.

A simple vaccine can protect your pet, your family, and our community.

Rabies cases are continuing to rise across South Carolina and the numbers are becoming difficult to ignore.

Recent reports from the South Carolina Department of Public Health confirm multiple rabid animals across the state, including raccoons, skunks, bats, cats, and even livestock exposures.

In several cases, people and pets were directly exposed and required medical intervention or quarantine. Greenville County alone has continued to see confirmed positive rabies cases involving bats, raccoons, skunks, and cats.

Rabies is not just a โ€œwildlife problem.โ€
It is a fatal virus once symptoms appear โ€” and it is actively being found in our communities.

Thatโ€™s why FurWell Veterinary Hospital and Vet Near Me are urgently encouraging pet owners to take prevention seriously and we are here to help!

Join us at our Community Rabies Vaccine Event
๐Ÿ—“ Saturday, June 6
โฐ 9:00 AM โ€“ 11:00 AM
๐Ÿ“ 1240 E Butler Rd, Greenville, SC

We will be offering rabies vaccines for a minimum $5 donation, with proceeds supporting local rescue efforts for retired military working dogs.

This event is open to the public.

If your pet is overdue or if you simply are not sure when their last rabies vaccine was given, now is the time to act.

South Carolina law requires rabies vaccination for dogs, cats, and ferrets, but more importantly, it is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect your pet, your family, and your community.

Please do not wait until exposure happens.
We are seeing more positive cases. More quarantines. More human exposures.

A simple vaccine can save lives.
