🦎Sophia here, who’s excited for this Sunday at NE Ohio Reptile Show?! I know we are! 🦎

While my Mom Cindy has been busy working hard on making her beautiful oddities, I’ve been busy working on preparing and taking care of all the living creatures!

We are bringing a bunch of different beetles this time around, including the highly requested Hairy Robot beetles! (Psst!… the Hairy Robots will be on sale for 💲3️⃣ each instead of 💲6️⃣!) We’re also bringing:
Our last two Texas Ironclad Beetles
Last two Monkey Teneb Beetles
Smooth Black Death Feigning Beetles
Rough Black Death Feigning Beetles
Blue Death Feigning Beetles (Which will also be on sale for 💲8️⃣ each instead of 💲🔟!)

We are saying goodbye to mantises for a little while but we still have one left so get it while you can! It’s a gorgeous Giant Asian Mantis. Stop by our table to come ask about it and its care, they make fantastic and entertaining pets!

🔥🐜Velvet Ants🔥🐜 are starting to make their return for the summer, this time we will have two female Dasymutilla Occidentalis! They make awesome display pets for those who like to be daredevils. (Like us here at Secret Garden Geckos. 😉) And the best part is, they can live with your beetles!

We are also bringing 3 🦂Desert Hairy Scorpions🦂to add to your collection of creatures or to add to your enclosure of beetles to spicy up your enclosure a bit!

We are bringing our beautiful captive bred jumping spiders and their beautifully decorated handmade enclosures! We will have both male and female Regals of all different instars, a male and some females of Purple Marbled, one Johnsoni, and last but not least one male wild caught Bold. (The one male Bold is the only wild caught jumper I have, the rest of the jumpers are all captive bred!)

The last live creatures we will be bringing are of course our beautiful Crested Geckos! We will have a few different morphs such as
Inkspot Super Dalmatians
Red Phantoms with Portholes
A Red Phantom Lilly White
And last but not least, Harlequins.

Happy Sunny Saturday! Cindy here. I just wanted to remind everyone that we will see ya in Tarrentum PA tomorrow for the Pittsburgh Reptile Show & Sale. And if you’ve been thinking about getting a horned skull, now’s the time. All of them are on sale until I sell out!

Gotta share my take on the ever popular Live, Laugh, Love home decor mantra. If you’ve ever rolled your eyes at those signs, this one’s for you! Because not everything has to be so damned inspirational, ya know?!?!

Set of 3 8x10 shadowboxes. All have glass, just easier to take photos without 😉. This little demotivational lovely could be yours tomorrow, lol!

Cindy again 🙂 also just wanted to let everyone know that all my ram and goat skulls are ALL ON SALE! Take an additional 15% off of lowest marked price. Sale will run until they are all gone.

You won’t find similar skulls at lower prices!

My large skull display takes up about two tables at shows and I’d like to be able to set up with less tables. Not to mention the amount of space they require with all the horns while hauling to shows.

Don’t worry I’ll still be carrying all the smaller skulls!!

Happy Saturday, friends! This is Cindy…. while Sophia has been hard at work pairing geckos and caring for all the reptiles and inverts, I’ve been busy having fun with with my oddity art.

I’ve got oodles to share with all of you over the next four weekends of shows!

My family found me particularly ridiculous for some of my oddity jars. Behold my Stripper Bees! And weevils, lol.

I’ll have all of the these below and so much more. Ive made about 100 different insect and bone oddity jars and keychains. And many pieces of framed art.

Took my bearded dragon Lucy to work with me today….apparently she thinks she’s officially on payroll now!

We tested her out behind the register (still working on her customer service skills 😄) and then she spent most of her shift lounging in the “sitting area” like she owns the place. Every single person who came in today stopped to tell her how beautiful she is… which, of course, has only boosted her ego.

All jokes aside, I’m really proud to be part of a team that truly cares about the animals. Bark & Branch Pet Supply Company is the area’s only reptile-focused store that puts a huge emphasis on proper husbandry, education, and making sure every animal (and even the invertebrates!) are set up for success.

That’s honestly why I love working here, the owners’ values around animal care and education line up so closely with my own.

If you’re local and into reptiles (or thinking about getting one), definitely check them out. You’ll learn a lot and know you’re getting the right guidance from the start!
