Last Tuesday, Ms. Judah celebrated a full year of fun and we received the most amazing update that we just had to share!🥰☺️ Really, a HUGE thank you goes to her family for being responsible pet owners who are incredibly loving and patient with her - she's a great RR because of you! 🐶🩵
"She has been an absolutely wonderful addition to our family. Judah is always ready to play and “throw down” whenever the opportunity arises, but she’s also incredibly calm and relaxed inside with us. It’s such a beautiful balance.
She has been especially patient and tolerant with our two young children (5 and 2), who are still learning how to properly interact with a dog - especially our toddler.
Her gentle and steady nature with them has meant so much to us. Judah is incredibly smart and learns so quickly. She’s sweet, attentive, and very sensitive, and she and I have developed the sweetest bond.
Honestly, she’s nothing like the challenges people often warn about with adolescent Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
Judah also has terrific recall, walks well on a leash (though we’re still refining it!), loves her crate, and has such polite manners - she lays down calmly in the living room while we're eating dinner. She’s also a great little guard dog, alerting us when something’s off but settling quickly when we reassure her. Truly, Judah is everything I ever hoped for when I first dreamed of having a Ridgeback nearly 15 years ago.
