Here is an article written by Dr. Dodds regarding vaccines and vaccinosis. Vets seem to be pushing vaccines more than ever before and some that are not really necessary. The only vaccine required by law is rabies. Doing Titters is a great solution to over vaccinating. Find a vet who does titters and is conservative when it comes to vaccines.

Josymir Maltese began in Western Pennsylvania in 1994, when we purchased our first male Maltese, Gucci. He stole our hearts and we became enchanted with the Maltese Breed. Since then, we have devoted ourselves exclusively to Maltese. We are dedicated and reputable Breeders of Quality AKC Maltese Puppies and Champion Maltese located in Western PA.

We take pride in breeding beautiful and sound Maltese puppies and Show Dogs who adhere to the AKC Maltese Breed Standard.Our Maltese puppies are born and kept within a loving home environment, assuring a healthy, happy and well-adjusted puppy whether they are destined for the show ring or for loving homes as great companions. We breed on a very small scale, preferring to focus on QUALITY instead of quantity. We produce intelligent, healthy, beautiful Maltese puppies that are outgoing, full of life and satisfy the AKC standard. That is not only our promise to our new families but our duty as responsible breeders!
