I have been off for about 6 weeks. And huge shout out to Ashlynn for all the help over these past 6 weeks.
I still have to take it slow coming back and can only do a few dogs a day. But it was a great feeling being back on Friday with the pups.

For anyone joining us from Ashlynn’s previous salon, please let us know that you were one of Ashlynn’s clients. As a thank you, we will offer $10 off your first groom with Doolittles.

Please bear with us as we work through messages and get back to everyone as quickly as possible. We want to make sure every client receives the time and attention they deserve.

As a mobile grooming service, we offer a luxury and convenience based experience. Our clients don’t have to load their dogs into a vehicle, sit in traffic, or wait at a salon. In many cases, you don’t even need to be home. Our pricing reflects the value of the service we provide, including the time and care spent with each dog, professional grooming equipment and maintenance, employee wages, van maintenance, water, fuel, and operating costs.

We are NOT a large corporation!
We are a locally owned small business that takes pride in providing personalized care to every pet we groom.

Many people have probably seen the recent Across Westmoreland post about the Golden Retriever who received an unfortunate grooming job locally.

Ashlynn had previously been this dog's groomer. After she left her former salon, the owners were unable to locate where she had moved to and took him to another grooming facility, where his coat was improperly groomed and shaved.

For those who may not know, Golden Retrievers are a double-coated breed. Their coat serves an important purpose by helping regulate body temperature and protecting their skin from the elements. Shaving a double coat can damage the coat's natural function and may affect how it grows back.

After seeing the post in a local group, Ashlynn was able to reconnect with her former client this evening. She gave him a proper bath, worked to even out the coat as much as possible, and helped make him look and feel much better while his coat recovers.

This is a great reminder of how important it is to choose a groomer who is knowledgeable and experienced with your dog's specific breed and coat type. Every breed has unique grooming needs, and proper coat care plays a significant role in your dog's overall health, comfort, and appearance.

We're happy this sweet boy was reunited with Ashlynn and look forward to watching his beautiful coat grow back healthy and strong. 🐾💜
