Meet Lucky 🐎

He’s a miniature gelding with a quiet, shy personality he keeps his distance and moves on his own time, and that’s okay.

Lucky was a rescue, and now he’s got space, care, and a place to just be himself here at Overton Estates.

Lucky’s here for something a little bigger too… my grandma always wanted a mini horse. So I made sure she had one ❤️

Around here, it’s about giving horses a good life and honoring the people we love.

EHV is back in the conversation, so let’s handle this like true horsemen.

Any time a case pops up, the horse world can go straight to panic mode. But at Overton Estates, we believe in leading with knowledge, not fear.

Good biosecurity isn’t complicated it’s simply responsible care:

• No shared buckets, brushes, or “nose-to-nose how-you-doin’” with horses outside your herd
• Wash your hands and gear between barns
• Quarantine any new horse who comes onto your property
• If your horse seems off, check their temp and keep them home to rest
• Been around other horses? Change clothes before loving on your own

EHV is serious we don’t take that lightly.
But panic never saved a horse. Smart, steady choices do.

Let’s stay informed and level-headed.
Let’s protect our herd by doing what we already know works.

Our horses rely on our leadership cool minds, strong hands, and responsible care.
Stay aware. Stay clean. Stay thoughtful.
