Young Dex modeling our new (used) Kia just a month into starting the business. I somehow miss him more every day.

Today makes 11 years of Red Beard Dog Training. I am forever grateful and humbled that so many folks have chosen to work with us over the years.

I’ll keep giving you all I can, but the amazing staff deserves all the credit these days.

I thought I would have something more impactful to write today, but I don’t. I’m tired. I’ve never felt less creative than the last couple months.

Also want to wish a Happy Birthday to my mom. She’s the most talented person I’ve ever met and I’m proud to be her son.

Lot of stuff is fu**ed up right now y’all. Love each other and hang on the best you can.

We need some help! We are staying busy and could use a certified badass to work 20-25 hrs per week for our mid-day shift (roughly 10-4ish) on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.

Don’t give a s**t about fancy resumes and fluffy LinkedIn profiles. Looking for someone that works well with dogs, helps out their fellow team members, prioritizes safety and shows up for work.

This job requires you to be on your feet and moving 👏 👏 👏

Should also mention it is a lot of fun so grouchies need not apply.

Still reflecting from a special weekend. Proud to host such dedicated owners and a trainer in that I gained a lot of respect for after watching them in their element.

The group said a lot of kind things about our training space, our community and Dexy…and it all filled me with joy.

We will be hosting our own workshop this fall and I’m already excited for the opportunity.

Which one is your favorite and why is it all of them?

Dexter is kind and gentle, but I love that he has so much depth to him. Dexy sets boundaries, communicates clearly and advocates for his own well being.

We had a beautiful long weekend camping and exploring. On these trips, I make it a point to not say a single word to him for a full day so we can communicate on the same level.

It’s peaceful...rejuvenating. I look forward to our next silent conversation.
