Today, we honor the life of Goose, who was so much more than just a pet. For 16 years she was a companion, a source of unconditional love, and a constant reminder of the beauty of life’s simple pleasures. From the way she would come running with excitement at the sound of a wrapper to the comforting way she curled up beside me at night, Goose had a way of making even the hardest days feel lighter.
Goose taught me patience and joy and was support as my world was shattered and help me pick up the pieces. Through muddy paws and chewed-up remotes, she showed me that life isn’t about perfection but about living fully in every moment. Her boundless laziness, unwavering loyalty, and gentle soul made Goose not just a dog but my soul dog.
Though the house feels emptier now, Goose leaves behind memories that will fill my heart forever and a sissy that will greatly miss her. I’ll miss the sound of her paws on the hardwood floors, the grunt sound she would make when she wanted some of my food and the love that filled every corner of my life. Rest easy sweet Goosey it was my privilege to be loved by you. I will be forever thankful for the time shared and the bond we created. I’ll see you soon “Ticky Time”
