Unbridled Synergy would like to introduce Thermal Imaging to our roster of services offered!

Thermal Imaging is a non-invasive technique that measures surface temperature differences in objects, revealing heat, infection, inflammation, and blood flow variations in human or animal
physiology. It can detect temperature changes of less than 0.05 degrees Celsius, making it 40 times
more sensitive than human touch. These changes can often be identified before they are externally
visible or palpable.

Can be used to help identify:
📸 Post-op monitoring to evaluate the possibility of infections and overall recovery

📸As a follow-up and monitor therapeutic activities

📸Muscle pain and/or injury; muscle tears

📸Back problems and/or injury; improper saddle fit

📸Joint & skeletal issues

📸Tendon & ligament issues

📸Identify lameness

📸Hoof balance, abscesses, and bruising, thrush, etc

📸Dental issues

📸Pre -purchase exams

🌟🐴 Exploring Different Types of Equine Bodywork 🐴🌟

When it comes to equine bodywork, there are various techniques that can address specific issues and enhance your horse's performance and comfort. Let's dive into some of the most common types:

1️⃣ Massage Therapy: Massage therapy involves hands-on techniques that target muscles, tendons, and ligaments. It helps improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, and promote relaxation. Massage therapy is beneficial for relieving soreness, enhancing flexibility, and boosting overall well-being.

2️⃣ Chiropractic Care: Chiropractic care focuses on the alignment of the horse's spine and joints. Through manual adjustments, chiropractors can correct misalignments, improve nerve function, and restore balance. This technique is particularly effective in addressing issues related to mobility, performance, and musculoskeletal imbalances.

3️⃣ Acupuncture: Acupuncture involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the horse's body. This ancient technique stimulates the release of endorphins and promotes the flow of energy, known as Qi. Acupuncture can help with pain management, stress reduction, and improving the horse's overall well-being.

4️⃣ Acupressure: Acupressure is similar to acupuncture but without the use of needles. Instead, pressure is applied to specific points on the horse's body using fingers or specialized tools. Acupressure can help address various issues, such as pain, muscle tension, and digestive problems.

5️⃣ Cranial Sacral Therapy: Cranial sacral therapy focuses on the cranial bones, spine, and sacrum to release tension and restore balance in the central nervous system. This gentle technique can help alleviate headaches, improve mobility, and promote relaxation and overall well-being.

6️⃣ Myofascial Release: Myofascial release targets the fascia, a connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and organs. By applying gentle pressure and stretching techniques, this technique releases tension and restrictions in the fascia. Myofascial release can improve range of motion, enhance circulation, and alleviate pain caused by tight fascia.

7️⃣ Nerve Release: Nerve release techniques focus on identifying and releasing tension or impingement on nerves. By addressing nerve-related issues, such as pinched nerves or nerve entrapment, this technique can help improve nerve function, relieve pain, and enhance overall comfort and performance.

8️⃣ Stretching and Exercise: Stretching and exercise techniques are essential for maintaining your horse's flexibility, strength, and balance. These techniques can include passive stretching, active exercises, and targeted movements to keep your horse's body supple and prevent muscle imbalances.

Remember, each horse is unique, and different bodywork techniques may work better for individual needs. Consulting with a qualified equine bodywork professional can help you determine the most suitable approach for your horse's specific issues and goals.

Investing in equine bodywork is an investment in your horse's well-being, comfort, and performance. Give your equine partner the care they deserve, and watch them thrive! 🏇💫
