My Biography
Hi my name is Michelle and I love animals! I grew up on a farmette in Mercersburg, Pa where I had the opportunity to have all kinds of animals as a child. We had our house pets (dogs,cats, guinea pigs, turtles and we can’t forget about the countless amount of fish) as well as our outside pets ( pygmy goats, rabbits and ducks). We also raised beef cattle where I learned how to bottle feed calves, and give feed, hay, and water to the larger ones. After I graduated from high school I took some classes and received my Veterinarian Assistant Certification. After receiving my certificate I went to work at a veterinarians office for about 4 years, I enjoyed every minute of it because I was able to interact with all kinds of different breeds and species. Unfortunately I ended up having to leave that job because of family reasons and the hours were not flexible. I also in my spare time enjoy transporting rescue dogs and I've fostered a couple as well. My love for animals has led me to starting my pet sitting, dog walking endeavor.
