🐕🦺Why train? Why spend hours teaching obedience, crate training, tricks, fetch.
1. Makes your life so much easier when it comes to basic care like bathing, brushing, nail trims, etc.
2. When you have a pool reno in your back yard (the place all 5 dogs go to exercise and potty) they not only stay out of the danger zone with basic commands, but totally ignore the workers, heavy equipment, and chaos happening around you. Happily playing fetch nearby.
3. Cute pictures of your dog doing Meerkat next to a giant pile of hair you brushed off them.
4. When you go to the vet, everyone tells you how great your (even wild crazy Grizzly bear) dogs are.
5. When its hotter than Satan's breath outside and even your high energy dogs can just chill inside on the couch most the day.
Dogs will always still be dogs. Blow off commands every once in a while, bark (they are dogs, get a hamster next time), have bad days, their own quirks and personality traits. Isn't that what we love about them? Their likeness to humans? But at the end of the day, my dogs all are pretty incredible because we worked hard when they were younger. I promise- it pays off.
