1. Have your puppies food on you
2. Move away from your puppy
3. Reward when your puppy chooses you
4. And repeat the steps!

➖Use your dogs meals
➖ Move away from your dog
➖ Use a lot of vocal encourage when your dog chooses you
➖ Start teaching this inside first!
➖If off leash ensure dog is safe in a fenced in area
**𝙻𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚍𝚘𝚐 𝚒𝚜 𝚊𝚕𝚠𝚊𝚢𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚊𝚏𝚎𝚜𝚝 𝚘𝚙𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗.

❌ 𝘿𝙤𝙣'𝙩
➖Chase your dog ever! (Instead use the leash to bring them toward you or run in the opposite direction excitedly)
➖Scold your dog even if they take a minute to come to you
➖ Don't have you're dog off leash at this age if they are easily scared, tend to wonder off, or if you are in an area that a dog could easily be injured

𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨....
This is a area most humans move to quickly. Many would look at their dog doing this and think oh he knows stay! And then expect and correct in the next session if he got up.

But he doesn't know it, he is just being rewarded for little movement. Because he is a naturally calmer dog, my session isn't too difficult and my rate of reward is perfect for him, he is succeeding in THIS session.

In a week or 2 he may struggle with this position and the adjustments will be made!
