We are very excited to introduce our newest team member. Dr. Jena Dicharry Van Houten. She is joining us as our new associate veterinarian and we are beyond thrilled to have her!!

Dr. Dicharry Van Houten was born and raised in south Louisiana, where she graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. There she focused her clinical experience on zoo and exotic animal medicine and participated in avian research. She moved to Florida in 2023 and has worked with exotic species ever since. She plans to pursue board certification in avian medicine.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Joshua, reading science fiction, and playing video games. Together they have a dog, cat, and 3 small parrots.

Pleas help us make her feel welcomed!

While we may not be directly affected by Milton, out of caution we will be closing early tomorrow to ensure the staff will make it home safely. We plan to remain closed on Thursday October 10th and reopen normally this coming Friday. Stay safe everyone!
