Another great Iowa buck headed back home. So glad I was able to mount this buck. We was shot later in the year and his left antler actually ended up falling off because it was close to shedding them. Anyway. Beautiful buck and a sweet pose. We did a custom backer on this wall pedestal. Some burlap and rope!

Absolute tank of a buck.

This buck is a great example of what I try to explain to people, meaning a big buck is more than just a rack…. The body and neck on this deer is from another planet. I literally could not find a form to fit his neck. He was swimming in everything I could find. Finally got a great fit on a Mears sneak. Thank goodness for that man ! The pictures do not do this buck any justice. For the rack and the body.

So PSA, if you’re hunting and see a deer or elk and the body is what stands out to due to its size. Shoot it !!!!!! They make for the best looking mounts !
