🦜Name: Ellie Mae(AKA The Feathered Sailor). His vocabulary is 10% sweet talk, 90% words that would make a trucker blush. His hobbies include laughing hysterically at his own jokes, dropping F-bombs when dinner is late and demanding cookies (treats) all day.

🏡 His ideal home is someone with thick skin: Must laugh off personal insults from a 1-pound bird. No kids unless you want them banned from the school bus on day one.

Apartments, condos, and townhomes are an absolute hard NO (unless you despise your neighbors). Despite his colorful language, he is incredibly smart, highly entertaining, and secretly a total cuddle bug when he isn't cussing you out. Today we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Rockstar Rescue Tour and The Leather Elves for visiting our rescue and for everything you do to support rescues across the country. 💚🦜

From the moment you arrived, your kindness, generosity, and passion for animal rescue were evident. We had such an incredible time spending the day together, sharing dinner, telling stories, and all the laughs. You all exceeded every expectation, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more genuine, compassionate, and fun group of people to spend time with. Needless to say, we all had a blast!

Thank you for believing in our mission and for investing in the lives of parrots that deserve a second chance. Your support helps provide food, enrichment, and a safe place for these amazing birds while they wait for their forever homes.
