We are often asked what Lowchen were originally bred for? Thier first job has always been to serve as a companion. They are great lap dogs… and allegedly thier shaved rear ends served to keep their ladies warm at night, while attracting any lice, fleas and another vermin to thier hair. But we don’t think those are the only vermin Lowchen are excellent at helping with. This little beauty has been alerting us to animals stuck in our live traps and this morning she found this little guy all on her own. I think she may have a future in BarnHunt :)
