Hello, my name is Becky Minney. I'm the owner of Becky's Paws and Claws Pet Grooming in Greeley. Last December (2024) my business partner and I had to ask another groomer to remove herself and her belongings from my grooming shop. For the last year, this person has been spreading horrible lies about me and my business partner throughout the community. I have had our clients as well as some of her clients come to me sharing multiple different stories as to why she was asked to leave. None of which contain a shred of truth. She has now resorted to social media as a means of spreading more lies about us. I am finally going to defend myself, my business, and business partner by putting out the Truth. I have witnessed several mental breakdowns by this person over 9 years. I would have continued dealing with them if not for the December incident which was the worst and potentially most
dangerous I had witnessed. While carrying a 9mm handgun in her pocket, she told my business partner, "I need to blow something up, or I need to shoot something. No...I need to shoot someone." She then asked my partner if she volunteered to be the person to
be shot. My partners response was" no, but you can stay away from me." She then asked her, "who do you volunteer to take your place?" ALL OF THIS BEING SAID WHILE SHE HAD A 9MM IN HER POCKET. We could have pressed charges, gotten a restraining order, and had her gun taken away. Instead, we sat down with her the next day to share our concerns and ask her to get mental help. When confronted, she admitted what she said, laughed about it and then became very hostile. She was then asked to remove herself and belongings from my grooming shop. All of this is on my shop surveillance footage, and recorded on a phone video. This is only a fraction of what happened over the years yet I refuse to destroy her name like she is attempting to do to us. I just want the TRUTH to be known.
