Summer and Shadow are having a blast!

So I’ve been waiting to post this. On Monday we got a new fur baby. She was dumped in a parking lot, then was brought to the pound. Stephanie saw her and said I’m adopting her. Stephanie named her Shadow which is appropriate. She is scared of her shadow. Every day we see improvements. She spends less time hiding, today she got a toy for the first time. I have never had a dog this small. She weighs 12.5 pounds and is 1 -2 years? She loves to be held.

She was our daughter’s dog for 16 years. She saw her through the good, the bad and the ugly of life. She was part of the family. Today she took her last breath and there is a hole in our hearts. R.I.P. Koko.
