I haven’t been posting much on our business page lately because I haven’t been getting any sleep! A few weeks ago I started fostering bottle kittens for the Weld County Humane Society.
Kitten update!
Just when I thought I could see the end in sight of sleepless nights from round-the-clock feedings, 3 new little ones were rescued and put in my care! (I’ll post separate pics of them).
I’m exhausted, but not complaining… I feel blessed to be able to help these little guys! They keep me smiling between yawns! 🥰
If you or anyone you know is looking for a new addition or two to your fur family, please consider adopting some of these little ones. They are technically charges of the Humane Society of Weld County, so adoption applications and charges will apply, but these kittens will be well worth it. They will be socialized with people, kids, dogs, etc, litter-trained, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and on solid food by the time they’re ready for new homes.
I used to think the adoption fees at the humane society were expensive. Now, as a foster, I realize how inexpensive it really is! One can of powdered kitten formula is anywhere from $16-30, and I go through a can every couple days. Canned food, dry food, cat litter; vaccines, spay/neuter, and other vet care, cat carriers, wipes, puppy/kitten pads, etc…
If you can’t adopt, please consider donating $$ or items. They really need the help.
