MSU Bozeman & OHS Purcell This transferred over into his passion working as a farrier.

Cleve Hamilton APF was born and raised in our Big Sky Country of Montana. He benefited from the lessons learned from his parents and grandparents by participating on their ranch, in the back country, and from serving the public as guide and horse handler. From an early age he realized that a gentle, but firm touch and a soft word produced the desired results with horses. He was always fascinated b

y how a horse worked, both physically and mentally. He developed a keen eye for the best qualities in a horse and for the things that would lead to issues. For many years he honed his skills by studying the old timers techniques in his area. In 2008 he decided to pursue his life long dream of becoming a farrier. He attended the prestigious Montana State University Farrier School in Bozeman, MT. In 2015 he furthered his formal education by attending the highly acclaimed Oklahoma Horseshoeing School in Purcell, OK. Today he resides in Great Falls, MT where he services a wide area of Montana full time with his skills and experience.

Clients and fellow Montanans, we should all be aware that we do have a confirmed case of EHV-1 in Silver Bow County, with 50 other horses having been exposed to the virus.

Please see the attached link, regarding the clinical signs of this disease. Please remember to do your due diligence when it comes to protecting your equine friends, as we will be doing our part as well to keep all of our clients safe from possible exposure.

Thank you to Gateway Products for making the best hoof dressing on the market!

We've been using their Su-per Hoof Dressing for several years now. In the hot, extremely dry summers here in Central Montana their hoof dressing is a must for our clients! Helping to keep the chipping and cracking under control, while keeping their feet looking much better overall. We already recommend applying every 2-3 days during the worst of the summer heat!

Just be sure to skip application when your farrier is scheduled! They'll cuss you for plugging their rasps with this fine product 🤣🤣🤣
