I’ve worked with many puppies over the past few years, but there’s nobody quite like Finn! She accompanied our family to Alaska on vacation over the last 10 days and I have to say that she rocked it! She is calm, confident and brought so much joy to the Alaska Airlines crew! They were so impressed by this young lady they awarded her with her first Wings as a Service Dog in training passenger. Because she is so young, we take extra precautions to keep her healthy along the way.

Happy Wednesday!!! Meet Stitch, he’s a sweet 4 year old boy!!!! He was rescued from the local shelter last week and has a had hard time being alone at home.

We will be coaching his new momma on how to get him settled in and comfortable in his new environment.

Things he will focus on today includes:

✅ Reinforce loose leash walking skills
✅ Correct his marking behaviors
✅ Settling behind closed doors
✅ Lots of playtime with his new friends Willie and Watson

Let’s send some love and encouragement to Stitch and his new Momma as they start their new journey together! It’s not always an easy process, but it’s always worth it!!!

It’s been a while since we’ve posted on social media! I had to take significant time off due to a second ACL surgery and recovery. In the beginning of December I took on a new client with a special mission! Watson, the sweetest golden retriever came to me as a board and train. His family set a goal for him to work as a therapy dog, but also attain the skills to recognize the symptoms of PTSD. I’m proud to say that after 4 months, he passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test today. This is the first step in preparing for his therapy dog observations when he turns one in July. I couldn’t be more proud of him! A special thank you to Hi-Line Canine for administering his test today! ❤️

Busy day today at Canine Coaching! We spent time with Sarah and she had a great day. She’s about 14 months old now and has come a long way in the past 6 months. She isn’t ready for a ton of distractions yet, but focusing nicely in her comfort zone!
