‼️A few reminders for tomorrow‼️

☑️Make sure your pet is wearing a collar with a phone number/ ID on it.
☑️Early let outs before fireworks start going off. If your dog is a runner, only let outside on leash (even if fenced in) to keep them from escaping.
☑️Have a quiet room for them. Playing music or turning on TV can block out some of the noise. Lick mats or Kong’s can also be very helpful to keep them distracted.

🎆 Fireworks Are Coming—Is Your Dog Ready? 🐶💥

Fireworks may be fun for us, but they can be terrifying for dogs. If your pup struggles with anxiety during loud booms and flashes, now is the time to contact your veterinarian and ask about safe medication or calming aids.

Don’t wait until the last minute—many vets get booked up before the 4th of July and other holidays. Getting prepared now means less stress for you and your dog later.

✅ Talk to your vet about:
• Anxiety medication
• Calming chews or pheromone diffusers
• Behavior support for sound desensitization
