This past week, we got to celebrate our technicians/assistants for Tech week! We would like to recognize and thank all of our techs and assistants for all of their hard work and dedication over the years.
Donna is our licensed veterinary technician who has been with us for 23 years! You may have had the pleasure of meeting Donna in an exam room taking a history for your pet, helping to draw blood, or hold your pet. She can also be found in the treatment area on the floor holding animals, helping to complete procedures, prepping/monitoring for surgical procedures or in the dental room cleaning your pets' teeth.
Ashley is our vet assistant supervisor and has been with us on and off for 15 years! Since becoming our supervisor a few years ago, you may not get to see Ashley as much as she plays a heavier role behind the scenes these days, she is not typically in exam rooms taking histories. As well as motivating the team, Ashley can be found helping in the treatment area, holding animals, drawing blood and helping to get pets ready for their surgical procedures.
Abbi is one of our vet assistants who has been with us for 5 years! You'll find Abbi in exam rooms taking histories of your pets or in the treatment area prepping and assisting in surgery and dental procedures. Abbi is a great asset to our team and has really grown as an assistant over the years. Abbi tackles all of her days head on with no questions and is calm and ready to handle anything that comes her way.
Madeline or as most know her, Maddie is one of our vet assistants and has been with us for 2 years! You will find Maddie in exam rooms taking your pets' histories, drawing blood, or in the treatment area assisting with prep and surgical procedures, including dentistry. Maddie has come a long way in the short 2 years she has been here and has recently started going to school to become a certified technician. Maddie is also interested in becoming a Veterinarian.
Courtney is one of our vet assistants, she has been with us for 5 years but has just recently joined us as a Vet Assistant. You have most likely seen or spoken with Courtney at the front desk as she has worked most of her time here as a receptionist, these days you will more likely find her in the exam room, taking a history of your pet or in the treatment area drawing blood and assisting with procedures.
Rachel is one of our vet assistants and has been with us for about 2 months. You will meet Rachel in the exam room taking histories on your pets or can find her helping with procedures in the treatment room. Rachel is learning quickly and we look forward to Rachel being a lasting member of our team.
Again, we want to thank all of our wonderful techs/assistants for all that they do and the love and care they put into the work they do every day for all of our patients.
