We’re Hiring: Kennel Attendant

Do you love animals and have a passion for their care and well-being? Join our team as a Kennel Attendant and make a difference in the lives of pets every day!

Employment Type: [Full-Time/Part-Time]

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and administering medications and scheduling Boarding stays.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kennel areas and pet supplies.
• Supervise animals during playtime and walks.
• Assist with grooming and bathing animals as needed.
• Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the management team.
• Maintain accurate records for all animals under care.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous experience working with animals preferred but not required.
• A love for animals and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to handle animals of different sizes and temperaments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as cleaning and walking animals.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Join us October 29th and 30th from 12pm-3pm for Halloween pictures for your beloved dogs! 🎃👻

Money from the photos will go into the Angel Fund at South Rhea Animal Hospital to help owners in need of financial assistance that may have fallen on hard time or emergent situations, so that they are still able to care for their pets. So come out and join us for a ghoulish time!

*Dogs must be up-to-date on their rabies, kennel cough and DHLP/DHPP vaccines. Proof of vaccination status may be requested for pictures.*

We’re hosting pictures with Santa on December 15 from 3-5 pm, so bring your fur-babies down!

We will have a photographer on hand for pictures. Photos will be $5 and all proceeds will be donated for our Angel Fund for pets in need.

We will also be taking donations of stuffed animals and blankets for the Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga.

Come visit us December 15th and help spread some Christmas cheer! 🎄
