Life at the Lake

Primm Rose may only be 4 years old, but she already has life all figured out.

Living on the lake means plenty of adventures, but she also takes her job of guarding her home very seriously. At heart, though, she’s a Mama’s girl through and through—always staying close and showering her family with love.

Her smarts shine every day, whether it’s on a walk, a spirited game of hide-and-seek, or play dates with her doggie friends. She’s proof that rescue dogs bring endless joy, laughter, and loyalty. Our home and hearts feel complete with her in it.

Zelda is still in need of a forever home. All our standards with the exception of Nala Joy have been adopted leaving poor Zelda heartbroken that she has not been the chosen one.
A sweet puppy with so much love, joy and potential! Interested in foster three or fostering to adopt or better yet adopt this sweet baby girl. Age: ~6–8 months (puppy energy + learning fast!)
Personality: Sweet, outgoing, playful, and affectionate
Zelda’s story is one of resilience—she was likely dumped at a local high school, but despite her rough start she has blossomed into the sweetest, happiest pup.

Training & Temperament
Came to her foster family with no training, but she’s already learned potty training basics and knows how to sit!
Super smart and eager to learn with continued guidance.
Zelda is a social butterfly—she loves people, dogs, and cats!

That said, she’s definitely an alpha girlboss. She’d thrive best as either the only dog in the home or with a more submissive, easygoing male dog as her buddy.

She has a gentle herding instinct (with people and cats!) and LOVES to play.

✨ Happy Adoption Update! ✨

Our little guy Clutch – now Copper – has officially hit the jackpot… he’s been adopted by his amazing foster family! 🧡

When Copper first came to us, he was scared and unsure, especially around men and anything that moved too quickly. We knew right away he needed a calm, safe home to help rebuild his confidence and show him that he would never be hurt again.
With love, patience, and kindness, his foster family gave him exactly that. Somewhere along the way, Copper decided he was already home. He bonded deeply with his new mom, made friends with the kids in our neighborhood, and let his feisty little personality shine through!

Copper’s journey began when he was surrendered to the county shelter under the claim of being a “stray.” With the threat of euthanasia looming, we knew that was not his destiny – and we gladly pulled him to safety. 💕

Today, this tiny but mighty pup is living his best life with the family he was always meant to find. Congratulations, Copper – forever starts now! 🐾🥰

🐾 Meet Charles Barkley! 🐾

This sweet 2-year-old neutered Poodle mix has already been through so much in his young life. He was surrendered to a local shelter in rough shape, but thanks to an amazing vet team and a successful cystotomy (bladder stone removal), Charles is now on the road to recovery. 💙

To keep him healthy and happy, Charles will need to stay on a special urinary diet for life—but don’t let that fool you, he’s otherwise the perfect companion!

What Charles Loves:
✔ Snuggles and endless pats
✔ Bath time & blow-dries (he’s a natural!)
✔ Meeting new friends—he’s already eager to play with the pack (though still on limited activity while he heals)
✔ Being the goodest boy at the rescue—he rocked his entrance exam and heartworm test which was Negative. Hes now started on his minthly preventatives.

Charles Barkley is looking for a foster or forever family to shower him with love and give him the happy life he deserves.

Looking for Loving Foster Homes in Gwinnett County 🐩

We are in need of foster homes and community support in the Gwinnett County area for our moyen and standard poodles. One of them is this sweet boy — 32 pounds of pure love just waiting for a family to care for him!

The Armor of Rescue
In fields of sorrow, hope takes root,
Each life we save, a tender fruit.
