If you're looking at these photos, you're seeing just a small handful of the precious dogs we've helped rescue this year alone.

Our rescue depends on the support of our community to give these sweet babies a second chance and help them find the loving forever homes they deserve. Some came to us as owner surrenders, some were abandoned and ended up in shelters, and others landed on euthanasia lists simply because fear and stress made them appear unadoptable in overcrowded environments.

Every one of them deserves a chance to be loved.

This year has stretched our rescue to its limits. We are funded primarily through the Poodle Mom's full-time job, personal commitment, and community outreach efforts. While we remain dedicated to saving as many lives as possible, we can't do it alone.

We took Juno to Brewsters Ice Cream, Grayson tonight for a well deserved Pup cup. He loved meeting new friends, children and other pups. Just going to say, we think his favorite part was the Ice Cream! 😘🍦Mavroudis Poodles

🎉 Poodle Mom is HOME! 🎉
..and sadly, she'll be leaving again in less than 24 hours for another week! 😭🐩✈️

Before she heads back out, she's making the rounds checking in on all of our amazing foster pups. Here's the latest update on a few of our adoptable babies:

🐾 **Atlas** – 2-year-old Miniature Poodle | 15 lbs

This handsome little guy is thriving in foster care! Atlas is wonderful with other dogs and becomes an incredibly affectionate, silly lap dog once he gets to know you. He's house-trained, loves being close to his people, and would happily retire from kennel life forever if given the choice. ❤️- Saved from Euthanasia List in Gwinnett County 💗

🐾 **Juno** – 4-year-old Standard Poodle | 85 lbs

Juno is our gentle giant and professional cuddle expert! Despite his size, he's convinced he's a 5-pound lap dog. He has basic obedience skills, loves all animals big and small, and is both house and crate trained. Sometimes he even chooses to relax in his 5x5 x-pen. If you've ever wanted a living weighted blanket, Juno is your guy! 🤍

🐾 **Gucci** – 4-year-old Goldendoodle | 65 lbs

This laid-back sweetheart continues to make incredible progress. Gucci is house-trained, crate-trained, and loves being part of the family. Since starting boarding and training following his neuter, he's gained confidence and is learning that people can be trusted. Once fearful of quick hand movements, he's blossoming into a loving companion who enjoys cuddles and outdoor adventures with his favorite humans. 🥰

🐾 **Maple** – 3-year-old Toy/Miniature Poodle | 7.5 lbs- APPLICATIONS CURRENTLY CLOSED! - Saved from Henry County Euthanasia List 💞

Maple is the total package when it comes to love and companionship! This sweet little girl is happiest when she's right by your side. Need help in the bathroom? Maple's there. Cooking dinner? Maple's there. Watching TV? Maple's there. Sleeping? You guessed it—Maple's there too! ❤️

She loves playing with her stuffed animals and enjoys spending time with the other pets in her foster home. Because of her tiny size, Maple can be a little nervous around large, bouncy dogs, which we think is completely understandable. She would thrive in a quieter home, with or without other pets, where she can continue being someone's devoted shadow. Maple is both house-trained and crate-trained and is ready to shower her forever family with endless love.

All four of these amazing pups are searching for their forever homes!

💗💗💗TINY PRINCESS ALERT💗💗💗

🐩🐩🐩WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR MAPLE🐩🐩🐩

Our sweet Maple is still searching for her forever home. This tiny girl is either a big Toy or very small Miniature Poodle weighing just 7.24 lbs!

Maple was pulled from a high-kill shelter after landing on the euthanasia list. When she first arrived, she was terrified — matted, overwhelmed, and too scared to let anyone touch her. But since the very first day in rescue, Maple has shown us who she truly is. She is not aggressive whatsoever… she was simply petrified in a loud, stressful shelter environment and stuck in survival mode.

Now this sweet little princess is thriving. Maple is crate trained, housebroken, and would happily spend every moment curled up in your lap. She loves being your shadow, following you from room to room, and would absolutely steal your ice cream if given the chance.

She gets along well with other dogs, but honestly her favorite place is right beside her person soaking up all the love and attention she can get.

Due to her tiny size, any children in the household must have previous experience with small animals. We will require meet-and-greets to ensure safe and appropriate interactions for Maple’s protection.

🚨 Mavroudis Poodle Rescue is currently CLOSED to new intakes until additional foster homes step up for the dogs we have already committed to helping. 🚨

We are a 100% foster-based rescue, and without dependable foster homes, we simply cannot continue pulling dogs from overcrowded and high-kill shelters.

Please understand that when fosters back out, stop communicating, or do not follow through after committing, it directly impacts the lives of the dogs depending on us. Many of these dogs are in urgent medical or life-threatening situations, and we often commit to saving them based on the support promised by our community.

The reality is that rescue expenses almost always far exceed adoption fees, especially for dogs requiring emergency veterinary care, grooming, diagnostics, medications, and rehabilitation. Donations and pledges are often used immediately for incoming dogs in crisis. Unfortunately, when pledges are not honored, rescues are left carrying overwhelming medical and care expenses alone — making it even harder to continue saving lives.

We love what we do, and we will continue fighting for these dogs, but we urgently need reliable fosters, adopters, and supporters willing to truly follow through on their commitments.
