Sadie Lou & Whoella 💕

These two sweet 8-week-old sisters are still waiting for their forever homes. Born to a poodle–schnauzer mix mama, Sadie Lou and Whoella are playful, curious, and full of love.

They adore fetch, exploring new safe spaces, and turning delivery boxes into treasure hunts. They’ve slept through the night since day one, are doing amazing with potty training, and are growing more confident every day.

Good with dogs and cats, these girls are looking for families who will guide them, love them, and grow with them.

A Love Letter to Our Village written by The Mavroudis Poodles

Yesterday felt heavy.
Phones buzzing, hearts racing,
Fosters shuffled like puzzle pieces,
All while little lives waited—
Chip, so tired.

Tiny puppies, just beginning.
Dapper, gentle and hopeful.
And then… today.

Today, you showed us who you are.
One foster for Chip—
Not just a safe place, but a forever.
A “we plan to fail” kind of love,
The kind that heals broken bodies
And rewrites hard beginnings.

Temporary arms opened wide
For two sweet 8-week-old souls,
And for Dapper, our golden boy,
Three years young and already so deserving.

This didn’t happen by chance.
It happened because you shared.
Because you commented.
Because you told a friend,
Paused your scrolling,
And chose compassion.

Chip didn’t end up in a shelter.
He rode home instead—
Wrapped in promises,
Protected by love,
Carried forward by a village
That refuses to look away.

To every single one of you:
Thank you for being louder than fear,
Kinder than circumstance,
And proof that community saves lives.

Today is a good day.

Meet Chip! 🐾
Chip is a 6-month-old Sheepadoodle (Old English Sheep dog and Poodle Mix) who’s finally clean and on the road to recovery.

When he arrived, he had a significant amount of matting and a strong odor, so a full groom was definitely in order. His matted ear hair was carefully plucked, and he has since been dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Our next step is a f***l exam to be sure there are no additional parasites we might be missing.

Chip is currently very underweight, with a body condition score of just 2 out of 9. For now, nutrition is our top priority. He’ll be on small, frequent meals to help his body properly digest food and absorb the nutrients he desperately needs.

Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve secured a wonderful foster-to-adopt family for Chip, and he’ll be joining them tomorrow to continue his healing journey.

🚨 FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED ASAP 🚨
Meet Chip, a 6-month-old Shepadoodle puppy looking for a safe place to land 💙
Chip was recently adopted, but his family realized they weren’t quite ready for a young pup who still needs basic training and guidance. He’s a sweet boy who hasn’t had formal obedience training yet and is still working on potty training. With patience, consistency, and love, Chip has so much potential to thrive!

✨ What Chip Needs
A foster or adoptive home willing to help him learn the ropes Someone who can build his confidence and continue his training
Bonus: a home with a confident resident dog to help show him the way 🐾

📅 Why the urgency?
Our current foster mom must travel Monday–Friday throughout January for work starting on the 4th, and we need placement ASAP.

🐶 Foster Support Provided
Crate available upon request
All medical needs covered by the rescue
Monthly heartworm, flea & tick prevention provided
Fosters help transport Chip to/from adoption events Sundays 11–3 at PetSmart Snellville, Ga

Frosty Da Bro Man is keeping a watchful eye on the puppies from afar while the rest of the poodle herd happily entertains them 🐾
We’re still in shock that these two little ladies have had zero interest so far!

Meet Sadie Lou and Whoella—8-week-old mixed-breed sisters with the sweetest personalities. Their momma is a Schnauzer/Poodle mix weighing 23 lbs. These girls are already rocking potty training, sleeping through the night, and warming up quickly to both people and their furry friends.

Merry Christmas from Mavroudis Poodle Rescue!

As the holidays wrap up, we have an after-the-holiday wish list and would be so grateful for your support. If you’re refreshing your home, our fosters would love gently used bedding, towels, and dog beds to snuggle with.

Have dog treats your pup didn’t care for? Our fosters will happily enjoy them! And if you’re overstocked on cleaning or paper goods, we can always use laundry detergent, bleach, paper towels, and Lysol wipes.

Donations can be dropped off at our home or at any PetSmart Snellville adoption event, including this Sunday, December 28th from 11–3.

Let’s clear out the extras before the New Year while helping dogs in need 💕

Happy 5th Birthday to our Frosty Da Bro Man, who we planned for, and to his brother Krispie Kringle, who we adopted 8 months later and didn’t know we needed.

These boys are truly so special to us. Not only are they cherished members of our family, but they play a huge role in helping us socialize so many of the fosters who come through our rescue. Their calm, confident, loving nature makes a lasting difference for dogs who need it most.

We are beyond grateful for these two and the joy, balance, and heart they bring into our lives every single day 💞🎂🐾
