April is Heartworm Awareness Month. The American Heartworm Society recommends heartworm testing once a year and using heartworm prevention all year long. Missing just one dose of heartworm prevention can lead to a pet getting infected. If you and your pet are headed to the veterinarian’s office this spring for an annual check-up, be sure you leave the clinic with heartworm prevention!

It's a new day, a new week and a new era starting today at ACVC!
Last week we closed the door on the first 30 years of leadership with the retirement of ACVC's founder, Dr. Gibson. Today, Doc opens the door for Dr. Boyer to lead ACVC into the next 30!
Dr. Boyer isn't a new face at ACVC, but one you have come to know and trust over the last year and a half. Dr. Boyer and her team will continue to provide the skilled, compassionate care you expect and your pets deserve. If you haven't met Dr. Boyer yet, we encourage you to stop by and say hi!
