📸📸🐾 Say cheese! It's Weekly Wag time! 🐾📸
This week we're featuring Paisley, Blue, Daisy, Bojangles, and Chief!
First up, Paisley, she's a delightful young pup who spreads love everywhere she goes. With a sweet personality and plenty of charm, it's impossible not to smile when she's around! ❤️🐾
Next is Blue, our resident vocal master. If there's a conversation happening, Blue wants to be part of it! 🎤🐾
Then there's Daisy, the senior sweetheart of the group. She may have the most birthdays under her collar, but she's certainly not lacking in spirit and keeps up with the best of them! 💖
On deck next is Bojangles, whose soulful eyes could melt just about anyone. One look and you're hooked! 👀❤️
Finally, we have Chief, who truly has never met a stranger. This friendly fellow is an Italian Lagotto Romagnolo—go ahead, try saying that three times fast! 😄🐕
Can you believe how different they all are? From chatty to charming, spirited to social, their unique personalities shine through in every photo. We love getting to know each pet who comes through our doors, and these five certainly kept us smiling all week long! 💙🐾
Now we want to know: Who stole the spotlight this week? 🌟🐾

Pools can help pets cool off, but they also come with important risks. Chlorine and salt water can irritate skin, eyes, and stomach if swallowed. Dogs can easily become exhausted, experience temperature shock in cold water, or develop ear and skin infections from lingering moisture. Not all dogs are strong swimmers, so drowning is a real concern.

For safe pool use, always supervise closely, limit swim time to 15 to 20 minutes, offer frequent breaks, and provide fresh drinking water. Rinse your pet after swimming and dry their ears thoroughly to support pet wellness and prevent infections.

For a safer option, consider a shallow kiddie pool or sprinkler for cooling without the risks.

Have questions? Our team is always a call away. 🐾💧

👑 It’s the weekend and the Weekly Wag royalty is here! 🐾✨
The clinic was full of sweethearts this week, and a few members of the royal court simply had to be featured! First up is Mr. Quincey, sitting proudly in reception like the king he is while awaiting his appointment. He absolutely knew how to work the camera! 📸👑

Next came little Miss Mandy, patiently waiting like the princess she is while her mommy checked in at the front desk. Those magnificent eyes were overflowing with love and affection! 💖🐶

Then there’s King Einstein, our resident avian “assistant,” helping out in reception. (We’re still investigating how much actual work he contributed… but morale was definitely boosted!) 🦜😂

And finally, our fearless leader and crew stayed completely focused on the patient, refusing to let the paparazzi distract them from the job at hand. 👩‍⚕️🐾

Thanks to all the furry, feathered, and fabulous members of our clinic kingdom for making every week special. Have a wonderful weekend from all of us at Gadd’s! 👑💛

High temperatures can be brutal for our furry friends. Dehydration isn't just uncomfortable; it can be dangerous.

Here's what to watch for:

✓ Fresh water available at all times (refill bowls twice daily in hot weather)

✓ Know the signs: excessive panting, lethargy, dry gums

✓ Limit outdoor activity during peak heat (10 AM - 4 PM)

✓ Never leave pets in parked cars—even with windows cracked

Pro tip: Offer water before, during, and after playtime. Consider a fountain for pets who love running water!

When in doubt about heat-related illness, call us immediately.

As temperatures rise, pets are at serious risk for heat exhaustion and heatstroke, sometimes within minutes. ☀️🐾

Please watch for warning signs like:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Weakness or lethargy
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Difficulty breathing

To help keep your pets safe:
✔️ Avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day
✔️ Always provide access to fresh water
✔️ Limit strenuous outdoor activity
✔️ Keep pets off hot pavement
✔️ NEVER leave pets unattended in vehicles

If your pet shows signs of overheating, move them to a cool area, offer small amounts of water, and contact us immediately.

A little extra caution can save a life this summer. ❤️

It's Fri-yay! That means an update from Gadd's Weekly Wag!! This week brought us two black-and-white beauties and plenty of smiles at the clinic! 🐾
Charlie definitely wins “Friendliest Labradoodle” of the week — poke him, prod him, hug him… Charlie just keeps grinning and soaking up every bit of attention! 💛

Then there was Miss Ellie… and THOSE eyes! 👀 She seemed to be saying, “Yes, I know I’m gorgeous, thank you very much.” Between admiring herself and happily watching all the other pups stroll through the clinic, she was hard to photograph!

And then came Dior! ✨ What a smile on that girl! Her sweet, classy personality matched her fabulous name perfectly.

Last but not least… it apparently took six tech hands and Dr. J working together to get the job done this week! 😂🐶 Yay for teamwork!!

The Weekly Wag is here!👏🐾💛
First up is Promethia, the adorable African Sulcata tortoise who waddled in and completely stole the spotlight! 📸🐢 (Brittani helped a little, too 😂)
Then we have our sweet rooster, being held oh-so-gently by our loving staff. 🐓❤️ Such a handsome little gentleman!
Dr. J and Vet. Tech Des pause from very important note-taking duties long enough to smile for the Wag camera! Thank you!✨
And last but definitely not least, Mae with her baby Zoe who stopped by for some quality mom-and-baby hangout time — and our hearts may still be melted. 🥹🐶💕
From feathers to fur to shells, every week brings new faces and happy tails to the clinic… and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🩺🐾
