We are excited to announce that we will be building another expansion this fall, and will be able to accept four new pasture boarders in October! Pasture Board includes the following:

✨ 24/7 Turnout in small groups
✨ Paddocks cleaned twice daily
✨ Grain/supplements fed twice daily
✨ Free-choice hay and fresh, clean water
✨ Blanketing and fly spray/mask applications
✨ Access to use of our barn, outdoor arena, trails, and other amenities!

It has been a busy summer here at Equine Valley! On hot days we feed extra salt and electrolytes, cold hose the horses, turn the stall fans on, and make sure there is plenty of fresh water available for everyone. Our loft is full of hay and the horses are still enjoying the grass in our pastures. We hope all of you are having a great summer as well, filled with fun outings and barn days!

We recently had the opportunity to welcome a few new boarders, and everyone has settled in really well! All of the horses have enjoyed turnout into pasture, and the extra space to gallop and roll. We built a new hay hut for one of our dry lots, and have more expansion planned for this fall. It is such a blessing to work on this beautiful, peaceful property, knowing our horses are all living their best lives. ❤️🐴

Here at Equine Valley Stables, we strive to create the supportive environment your horse needs. Our paddocks are designed to provide your horse with dry stone dust footing, hay available 24/7, fresh, clean water, and access to pasture. Each of our horses are turned out in small groups, grain and supplements are fed twice daily, and each horse is fed grain individually to ensure they eat what they need. Our paddocks and shelters are cleaned twice daily year around, and we take care of all blanketing, fly spray, and fly mask applications. We currently have both Pasture Board and Full Board availability! Full Board includes all of the above as well as a large, well bedded stall for overnight. We are a private boarding stable, the perfect place for the retired horse or someone looking to enjoy a laid back, quiet barn atmosphere. We have a large, well maintained outdoor arena and trails, and multiple trainers who travel to the barn and provide lessons for those who are actively pursuing their horsemanship goals. So far 2026 has been off to a cold start, but we’re making the best of it here at Equine Valley! Our waters are heated, hay is available 24/7, and we make sure everyone has the blankets they need to be comfortable and warm during this cold weather. I’m very thankful for my wonderful barn staff, who have done a fantastic job helping to take care of everyone, regardless of what the weather may bring. Thank you Erin, Lizzy, and Jen! ❤️🐴 ❄️

Equine Valley Stables has one Pasture Board and one Full Board opening available! We are a private boarding facility located in Gray, Maine. Our boarding options include the following:

Pasture Board

✨ 24/7 turnout in small groups.
✨ Quality hay fed in slow feeding hay nets.
✨ Fresh clean water, heated in the winter.
✨ Grain/supplements fed twice daily (provided by owner).
✨ Large shelters and dry lots with dry stone dust footing and mats, cleaned twice daily. Each dry lot also has acess to a large pasture.
✨ Blanketing, fly spray, and fly mask applications.
✨ Stalls available for stall rest if needed.
✨ Access to use of our barn, tack room, trails, and well maintained outdoor arena.

✨ Full Board includes all of the above as well as a stall overnight.

This position has been filled, thank you!

Become a part of our team! We are looking to hire an experienced stable hand who will be available to work Monday and Wednesday evenings.

✨ Hours range from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the summer, and 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the winter.
✨ Chores include the following: feeding and pre-measuring grain, cleaning shelters and paddocks, leading horses up to the barn, filling hay nets, blanketing, etc.

We pay $18-$20 an hour for this position and offer various opportunities to pick up other weekday and weekend shifts. Applicants must have a drivers license and experience working with horses. October has been a very busy month, we finished building our paddock and shelter expansion yesterday, completing the project a week ahead of schedule! We also had a new driveway put in by the arena, and are very happy with how everything turned out. With our recent expansion, we have space to accept two new pasture boarders. We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! It’s been a very busy past few months here at Equine Valley, and we’ve had the opportunity to get a few projects done. Recently we added stone dust and mats to our barn aisle and also put in permanent fencing to replace our temporary pasture dividers. Stay tuned for updates on some exciting projects we have planned for this fall!
