Time for an update.. Bert has found his home, and will be living it up in lovely Colorado... thanks to all who have been following him!!

Bert has been having fun with our dogs and people, he is bright and energetic, and loves to be around everybody.. even the cat. He is getting used to the leash, and car rides, and he loves to play fetch.

Umberto, aka Bert is looking for just the right home. He would not come with a health guarantee because he had a heart murmur for the first month or so. Last Friday, the vet reported that she could no longer hear it, yay!! Also, that he should be just fine going forward. We are continuing to monitor, and will go back to the vet for verification. I have since heard that some pups grow up just fine even with the condition.

Bert is a sweet and lovey boy, with a great nose! He would probably do best in a home with another dog playmate who can teach him all about hunting and life with a family.

This am was a bit chaotic (think a pack of 5 angry dogs and a cornered racoon) what a way to start, but then it was time to think about baby girl number 6, who needed a bath to get ready for her new humans!! Update: Usha has found her family!!

This little one is Usha de Carcajou. Usha means dawn in Hindi. And symbolizes the life afirming rebirth of each new day. She is a sweetheart with an inquisitive nature, and she is looking for her own home and her own humans. Born 7/21/23 She is ready to go. Well socialized, quite potty trained, uses a dog door, plays well with others. Mom and dad are hunter companions. Please see our website for pedigrees and paperwork.
