One of my clients created this board of their Year Ahead Reading from earlier this year. (I had permission to share).

This is one of my more pricier readings, but it includes quarterly check-ins for reflection, exploring patterns, and then moving intentionally into the next quarter.

We only have one more follow up left, but I am inspired to make a kit for clients to create something of their own like this for the next year. Some of the best ideas come from my clients, and I am SO THANKFUL for the people the Universe sends my way. Real salt of the earth kind of folks.

The last day of the month closed with tarot readings at a private event for beautiful human beings.

I love when I discover patterns during these events, or listening to the stories and sharing authentic, intimate, moments - gosh, I mean, this is an experience with people I have met for the first time ever!

It’s a place of reverence for me, you know, to behold the numinosity of individuals when I read tarot. Hundreds and hundreds of people over the years. So many stories.

I can’t truly express how much gratitude I have that this is part of my own human experience. It’s pretty cool.

Overall, today was a great day. ☕️⚰️✨

Oh yeah, I’m a tarot reader.

Lately, I’ve been the lady feeding the squirrels that live in the trees and watching cicadas pop-out of their shell thingys. I take lots of naps too.

I don’t normally move this slow.

I don’t normally have time with nothing much to do.

I am usually go! Go! Go!

But I am trying. And here are the results so far.

Oh yeah, and last week, I turned 44.

I am sharing this voice to text.

So I decided to pull cards as it related to the picture of my four year-old Great Pyrenees named Graham.

Graham is vigilant. He “works” by running the perimeter of our backyard and neighborhood. He barks at every possible predator, be it the lawn guy or neighbor walking their dog. He also is incredibly , obstinate, with a total will of his own. His boundaries are unmatched. If he doesn’t like you, he’s very clear about that. He is a great mash up of the 7 of Wands/fire and King of Swords/winds.

But then there’s this part of him that loved me putting this handkerchief (created by .word.witch ) on his head where he looked like a Babushka, and he just was absolutely feeling it, and this moment of pure joy came over him.

As we are in Gemini season, and that Lovers card popped up there at the end (the card corresponding with Gemini), I am reminded that we can be as many things as we want to be.

We can be ferocious and resilient, objective and detached; we can be whatever we think we oughtta be or our default settings or like Graham with his Great Pyrenees traits.

When I put this bandana on Graham’s head, I thought he would pull it off because he’s kind of “no nonsense”. Did NOT expect him to not only embrace it, but he became absolutely SILLY. I think that’s what Gemini season is all about- being all the things and also enjoying pure silliness. A state of being isn’t mutually exclusive to one thing or another but a fusion of all aspects of oneself, AND anything else waiting to be revealed.

Still here! Still reading tarot and creating charts!

I’ve taken a small step back to indulge in some history with the Plantagenets (shout-out to - started out with Matilda, then went to Nemesis, and now wrapping up Lionessheart…I might as well keep going…)

Whoopsie- tangent. Yeah, so this Saturday, me at reading some tarot cards. I will probably infuse some of the stories of Joanna, Matilda, Philip, and etc in the readings because that’s what happens sometimes.
