It is so interesting to me...the photo vs. reality.

To me, this photo looks like the dead of FREEZING winter. However, it feels more like a warm marine layer. Foggy and 50 degrees at 7 am in February.

Take the rest. Take the time off. It is ok to take the days off. You need it. Your horse needs it.

On the 21st of December, days will start getting longer. Hang in there. Maybe, start planning your 2026 season?!

It has been a busy week at Lavender Fields. We got ready for our first event! The reception for my daughter and son-in-law.

As you can tell, it was business as usual for the horses.

After a long week, we shared a meal at the barn farm.

Andrew got to see the water tank he built full of water. And, we got to use the chairs and table that Nick built for the first time. Nick built the chairs out of our old barn wood - I love the character each piece of wood shares. The picnic table is 12 feet long and gave us all plenty of room to eat. 🖤
