Had a great time at CSAR 2026 - Hosted by Uwharrie Search Dogs with Dubai this past Sunday-Friday. We flew in to North Carolina with Rooster and Nina (and Craig) and then once classes started we carpooled with our new friend Brandi and her dog Kira since Nina and I were in two different classes.

Overall really happy with how Dubai did with the longer search times and different subject presentations and scenarios. He has taken the switch to Area search very well over this past almost a year and I can’t wait to see what else the future holds for us.

Some photos from some recent Demos we have attended with our SAR group! We love getting out there and educating the public on search and rescue dogs!

We attended/had a booth with our search and rescue group at a disaster preparedness event hosted by a local county yesterday! It was a great training opportunity for Berlin and Dubai and all our fellow teammates that attended because there was three different helicopters that were at the event that had to land and takeoff! Great opportunity for that exposure!

Fowler is back to work doing his therapy dog visits! With him being 12 he only has one place he goes one time a week now but it’s his favorite day of the week. The church we do this at is finished with their summer break so he is back to work greeting people as they arrive and head to classes ☺️

Also this is Fowler’s friend ghost 😉👻🐶

Even though I don’t post about Fowler as much as I used to, he still hanging about doing therapy dog visits here and there, enjoying off leash hikes, teaching the youngsters a thing or two and overall enjoying being a “retired” sport dog
