Protect your pet by remembering:

• Check paws, ears, nose, and eyes after walks
• Avoid tall grasses and dry open fields
• Seek care immediately if sneezing or limping starts

If a foxtail becomes lodged, veterinary care may be needed to safely remove it.

We will be open 24 hours on December 24 and December 25. On December 26, our hospital will be closed from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and will reopen at 6:00 PM.

We’re so excited to introduce Valerie Navarro as the new Hospital Director for Animal Emergency Clinic (AEC) in Grand Terrace!

AEC has a long history of serving pets and the community with compassion, skill, and deep commitment—and that remains at the center of everything we do. Valerie joins our leadership team with that same dedication, along with a strong background in hospital operations, team development, and client experience.

Valerie is known for her collaborative, people-first leadership style and her passion for supporting veterinary teams so they can continue delivering exceptional care.

Outside of work, Valerie enjoys horseback riding with her horse Azula, cheering on San Diego Football Club, attending concerts, and connecting with the local car community.
