My sweet sweet boy JJ passed away last night… he was 15 1/2 years old. His first year and most formative year of his life was being severely abused psychologically. After a few homes he found his way to me where I tried to make sure he knew he was loved and safe… one can only do so much… but my heart is broken. I will never forget this sweet soul… such a good boy… and yes I captured your smile. My comfort is knowing you are no longer afraid… Rest In Peace little man… I love you.

Five minutes ago they were all snoozing in the living room… I explained that is illegal use of daycare time and they need to play outside with their friends! They are a little chill right now because they have been playing all morning. It’s OK… I won’t call the doggy daycare police just yet… but if it happened again… hmmmm…. Come play (and nap sometimes) at Wet Nose Lodge!

This is Charlie. One of this weekends boarders… living his best life. As his parents are off galavanting around doing who knows what… Charlie is enjoying his weekend flopping around the pool like a fish. Introducing the real, actual Missy Nickless-Larsen. Missy has now become a permanent fixture to Wet Nose Lodge! Missy lived with me for 4 years about ten years ago. She’s been living in New Jersey with her NJ mom and has come back to Michigan while my niece is deployed with the Delaware Air National Guard. Thank you for your service Lizabeth, and we will do our part looking after this sweet old girl! Missy is now 16, pretty much deaf, half blind and a bit confused at times! But DANG she still looks beautiful! Please welcome this sweet old lady to our Wet Nose Lodge family! ?
