First day of summer for my kids means a quiet morning for me! Letting them sleep in so I can focus on my tasks before we head to the secret garden this afternoon.

Peony bouquets will head to shareholders over the next two weeks and any extra bouquets will be listed on my website.

In complete honesty: most of the peonies from this season’s crop will be made into shareholder bouquets, and I don’t anticipate having a lot of extras.

I’ll send all the info to my email subscribers when they come available, so join the email list if you want some of these beauties.

And don’t worry, I’m planting a couple hundred peonies this fall so I can share even more of these in the future.

Fistfuls of fragrance coming soon!

Plant some sunflowers with me!

I find this task calming and grounding and it’s one of my favorite ways to spend time with myself as I prepare for a hectic week.

My planting strategy is pretty simple: make a line, sprinkle in seeds about 5-ish inches apart, cover them up, and repeat.

Doing my best to enjoy the process along the way and not make it harder than it has to be. Both in the garden and in life. 🌻

So I’ll be taking these out to make room for some blooms that are just as gorgeous, but not nearly as offensive to the nostrils.
