What’s good y’all!
Sooo we post a lot of the animals we work with, rehabilitate, breed & even just have has pets. However recently It hit me that we haven’t really given much story behind a few of our main Dragons. Starting with my Witblit Kenzo.(swipe to see when we got him)
It was about 2 years ago in Roseville, MI. My girl and I were making trips around the state checking out exotic pet shops. We came across this one where Kenzo was for sale. At first glance his colors & being a witblit is what caught my eye.
After a few seconds of checking him out I started noticing dude was pretty skinny & super lethargic. Without a question grabbed him for their ridiculous price, got him to the vet asap to find out he’s loaded with parasites (what I figured) but has severe coccidia. The first vet treated it with something super strong that I wasn’t educated on, which helped the parasites but caused his immune system to CRASH. He was so sick, wheezing, going thru treatments and shots for at least 4-6 months before any type of improvement. BUT ALWAYS KEPT HIS APPETITE! (Thanks to repti boost & bee pollen)
We never lost hope, never gave up & it paid off after all that. He started wheezing less, eating way way more, gaining all his extra weight.
NOW…NOW! Dude is an animal! An absolute spaz for food, never fails to establish his dominance in a room with other dragons or humans 😂 and cmon..he’s so pretty!
