We want to give everyone a heads up that our Internet and phone lines are down. We just got off the phone with WOW and they are still looking for the cause, but the entire area is out so no estimted time of repair

So please be patient when you come in since we have to use our phones to check your pups in and out.

Rest assured, it’s business as usual and pups are all playing and having fun while the office stresses LOL

Nana-n-Paws Doggie Daycare, Training, Grooming and Sleepover Center is looking for full-time ambitious, dependable Pet Care Associates to join our team at this well established Grand Ledge business. We are hiring for all shifts with preference to those available to occasionally fill in on the overnight shift.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, caring for our canine guests, supervising play groups (both indoors and outdoors), bathing and cleaning up after dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Starting wage is $14/hr (overnight shift starts at $17/hr), and as a team member, you can bring your own dog to work with you for free daycare while you work, and you will receive discounts on sleepovers for your dog as well as discounts in our retail store and at our onsite veterinary clinic. Advancement opportunities are also available. You will receive extensive training in canine body language, non-verbal communication, breed specific behaviors, dog handling/training techniques, etc.

PLEASE NOTE:
This is a physically demanding job. Punctuality and reliability is of utmost importance. Candidates must meet the following requirements:
*Love dogs
*Be at least 17
*Have YOUR OWN reliable transportation
*Be honest, dependable and punctual
*Have no fear or prejudice of any particular breed(s)
*Have flexible availability
*Be available some weekends and most holidays
*Be a good team player with a positive attitude
*Be respectful to your teammates
*Be able to pass a thorough background check and a drug test for illegal narcotics
*Be physically capable of handling large energetic breeds and being on your feet all day
*Be able to work independently and efficiently
*Be able to tolerate working in an often noisy environment
*Have the ability to multitask in a calm and organized manner
*BE ABLE TO WORK WITHOUT YOUR CELL PHONE ON YOU, AS CELL PHONES ARE NOT PERMITTED DURING WORK HOURS. This policy is strongly enforced, as supervising the dogs must be the top priority. However, you can still be reached for emergencies through the company phone.
