Grand Ledge Pet Grooming will be closed from Monday December 30th through Friday January 3rd to allow our staff to spend time with their families. We look forward to seeing our clients in 2025.

Spring is right around the corner, and the muddy weather is upon us. To keep your special friend clean and healthy be sure to schedule a visit before the crazy Spring rush begins! A new year means many vaccinations are coming due, so be certain to bring in your updated rabies vaccinations to your next visit.

This February marks another amazing milestone for the Grand Ledge Pet Grooming family. Our amazing Libby is celebrating her 10th year here at GLPG! Libby has been an amazing and talented groomer and friend for these many years, so please join me in wishing her a Happy TENTH Anniversary with us! Thank you, Libby for bringing so much to the team and our community!

January 18, 2024: Grand Ledge Pet Grooming will be closing due to a gas leak in proximity to the building. To ensure the safety of our customers and staff we will be rescheduling and sending home pets that have already arrived for their appointments. We will be reopening tomorrow January 19th as soon as we know the area is safe for both staff and customers.

Happy Holidays Pet Parents!
Some early research into the recent outbreak of canine upper respiratory infections indicate a potential connection to bacterial sources. The good news is that isolating that information can help begin a treatment regimen for those pets affected. We are confident in our much-increased sanitation procedures, yet we still ask that all of our clients, including those who only come for nail trims, avoid coming in if you dog is symptomatic at all. Please check the prior post for a list of symptoms. Prevention is a huge part of keeping all of our companions safe, and that starts with the owners who know if those symptoms are present. Please, if your pet is ill AT ALL, call us and reschedule your appointment so we can arrest the spread of canine illness in our community.

Also, we have some space available if you need to get in for grooming before Christmas! Call now to reserve your appointment before it is too late!

Grand Ledge Pet Grooming is actively monitoring the infectious respiratory disease in canines that is spreading through the nation. Currently there have been no reports of the illness spreading in Michigan. At this time, we request that owners of pets showing symptoms of this disease which include:
Coughing and sneezing
Difficulty breathing
Rapid breathing
Wheezing or nasal whistling
Dehydration
Difficulty exercising
Fever
Nasal or eye discharge
Loss of appetite
Weight loss
Lethargy
