We have a couple of large Knockout rose bushes that are inhabited by a flock of mainly chickadees. To help them out, I wanted a giant birdhouse built and mounted above their home. The bird “condo” was made of wooden bifold closet doors from Habitat for Humanity and the cleaver and exacting work of our beloved handyman. Thanks Kent for your ability to create this piece from a simple drawing! -Waiting for Spring and nesting season to see if this concept works. 😊

Collaged end table of house and landscape constructed from found objects.

My obsession with collage and “tiny homes” is filling my mind and home! This piece was created out of many pieces of plastic caps/lids, trays or containers, silk leaves and flowers, a wooden box, candlestick, etc.. Parts were designed and adhered to a small table and painted with gesso and acrylics. The finished piece was framed by my fabulous handyman, Kent and topped with tempered glass.
