I’m asking for a miracle tonight. 💔🐾

Today we experienced a heartbreaking loss. One of our beloved huskies was out on an adventure and was tragically hit by a car. It was sudden, devastating, and the kind of moment that knocks the air right out of your chest.

On top of the emotional weight, we are facing $700 in emergency and after-care costs from trying to help them in those final moments. I hate asking, but right now we truly need help.

If you’re able to give even a few dollars, it would mean everything. If you can’t donate, please share, send love, or just hold us and this sweet soul in your thoughts tonight.

We do this work knowing there is joy and heartbreak—but losses like this one hit deep. Thank you for being part of our community, for caring, and for helping us keep going even on the hardest days. 🖤

As a newer nonprofit — and yes, seven years is still pretty young — every bit of support truly matters. 💛

In-kind donations from our Amazon Wish List and generous end-of-year gifts are the quiet heroes that keep the rescue running day to day. Treats, supplies, gloves, collars… all the unglamorous but absolutely essential things that add up to real care for real animals.

We want to give a huge thank-you to Mays Concrete — a small local business with a big heart. We don’t often get noticed by businesses, so their end-of-year donation meant more than they probably know. That kind of community support keeps us going.

And equally important, thank you to Hunter, who shopped directly from our Amazon Wish List and sent much-needed items like treats, martingale collars, and disposable gloves. These are the things we go through constantly, and they help us care for our dogs safely, humanely, and with love.

So many different kinds of giving help the rescue — money, supplies, time, and thoughtfulness. We see it all, we feel it all, and we are so grateful. 🐾 ♥️
