When I walked into my critter room this morning I noticed this chonky lady sitting by the glass. I turned away and when I looked back not even 1 minute later she had begun to give birth! My first time witnessing Madagascar hissing cockroach live birth. Like many reptiles, hissers are very misunderstood but make excellent handleable pets! They are one of my favorite inverts to keep.

It has been so enjoyable to see the changes in the coloring of my Kenyan Zebra Skinks as they age and shed. The dimorphism between male and female gets stronger and clearer every month! I hope to try pairing these two at the end of summer.
