Hello everyone! I thought I would make a post since we have been getting a lot of calls and messages about Aquatic turtles.

Aquatic turtles require A LOT of space and weekly (minimal) water changes. We operate out of our home and do not have the required space to take in Aquatic turtles.

This is why we are huge advocates about doing your research about an animal and taking in ONLY what you can care for, especially the longevity of said animal.

This sweet lil guy came to us today with Bacterial Dermatitis (Blister Disease) this is
typically caused due to poor husbandry which leads to excessive moisture and bacterial growth, especially on the belly and sides. This is treatable but will take a while to clear. He will be with us for a while and will be given a lot of TLC. 😁❤️ He is in good spirits and is willing to eat. So here is to a speedy recovery for this sweet lil guy!!

Good evening my fellow Reptile friends! We have had a HUGE surge in surrenders over the last week. 😱 ❤️ I will be posting an updated adoption list with pictures this weekend. If everyone could please share and like so we can get the babies we have had for a while into their new homes so we have room for new babies to be rescued!!

New rescue from Asylum Pets - Wyoming, MI today! And a huge shout-out to Cade Grimm and Jason for transportation to us!

This sweetie is a little thin but overall looks great! She will be in quarantine for at least 2 weeks then we will see where she is at that point ❤️
