Welcome to Whisker's Grooming. I have been self-employed for 20 years here in Grand Forks, ND and I have been grooming for 22. Whisker's is a small shop located inside of a home. I only take small dogs, 25 lbs & under, due to a bad back. Whisker's is open Tuesday's, Wednesday's & Thursday's by appointment only. Prices vary on what kind of haircut you are looking for but the general price range is $45-$55. This includes everything. Bath, nails, ears, checking of the a**l glands and the hair cut of your choice (unless there is matting, depending on severity, shaving may be the only option). Only need a nail clipping? A groomers worst fear this time of year and should be a pet owners is FLEAS....and TICKS. Tis the season for these pesky pains. Please make sure your furry family member is on Flea & Tick treatment. Just because we are in town doesn't mean you can't get them. OH and FLEA's you can get from your back yard or on a walk with your pooch or another infected pup. They are very hard to get rid of. Don't think your pet can't get them. They can very them easily. I charge a $40 clean up fee if your pet comes in with fleas so please be proactive. HAPPY SPRING!!!

Well It is Flea & Tick season! I have already had Fleas in this month so make sure you use preventative treatments for your furry friends starting NOW. Don't wait till summer. Frontline, K-9 Advantix and a chew are just some of the treatments you can get from your vet! Remember if your pet(s) gets fleas they wont be the only ones scratching and miserable!
