𝙒𝙀 𝙉𝙀𝙀𝘿 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙃𝙀𝙇𝙋!

If you've been keeping an eye out on our Facebook or our website, you may be familiar with Myrtle. She was recently featured in our Love Island themed post!

Here's the thing about Myrtle: we're 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 positive that she's a Belgian Malinois or at least mixed with it. Unfortunately, we wouldn't know for sure without a DNA test. But, even though she may not look like one, we've seen some traits that point to being a Malinois:
• excessive energy that we don't even see in our other high-energy dogs
• displays mouthy behavior perpetually, similar to that of a Malinois
• her snout is long and resembles that of a Malinois

Now here's where we need your help! Sitting in a kennel in a loud shelter 24/7 is not a great life for any dog, let alone a dog that is, or is mixed with, one of the highest energy breeds of dog that exists.

Do you know:
- Any shelter or rescue that has the capabilities to properly care for a dog like her? Or a specialized Malinois rescue?
- Small/smaller Police Departments who are in search of a K9? (We've contacted GFPD, and unfortunately, they are not able to take her).
- Anyone in ND who has the capacity to work with her (training facilities, someone who's looking to adopt and has the type of lifestyle that fits her needs)?
- Someone who'd be interested in fostering her while we find her forever home?

Meet Cha-Cha 🐾

This sweet girl came to us pregnant and spent time in a foster home where she gave birth to kittens. Now that her babies are old enough to be weaned, Cha-Cha has returned to the shelter and is ready to find her forever home.

When she first came back from foster, Cha-Cha spent most of her time tucked away behind her makeshift hideaway, only accepting pets from the safety of her cozy little corner. But day by day, she's been finding her confidence. She's started venturing out, seeking attention, and showing us the sweet, gentle cat she really is. ❤️

We often watch mother cats wait while their kittens quickly capture everyone's attention. The babies find homes, and their moms are left wondering when it will be their turn. While Cha-Cha's kittens are still too young for adoption, Cha-Cha is ready to start looking for her happily ever after.

🐱 2-years-old, female, pending spay
🏡 Has not had interaction with other cats, dogs, or children
⭐ Absolutely LOVES being brushed and getting attention.

If you're looking for a quiet companion who just needs a little patience and a lot of love, come meet Cha-Cha. We think her best days are still ahead of her, and we'd love to see her spend them in a home of her own. ❤️
