If you have not already researched this breed, I ask that You educate yourself about the Toy Poodle specifically. While they share many Poodle traits with their other Poodle Ancestors, they have unique traits and needs of their own. I am always happy to answer questions, I am deeply passionate about my Breed! Never hesitate to ask me anything related to the Toy Poodle”
I sell my Puppies with “Limi
ted Registration” I do not sell Puppies to those who are interested in Breeding. My Puppies go to their forever Person(s) at 12 Weeks. I will have worked with Your Puppy on Socialization and Stimuli. They will be De-sensitized to tolerate having their Paws, mouth and Ears touched. This is important because Nails must be trimmed regularly, Ears will likely need Medication at some point in their life and I am a strong advocate for regular teeth brushing at least twice a week. Like all Toy Breeds, Toy Poodles will accumulate Plaque early on and then Tarter build up, which can quickly lead to disease and loss of Teeth, which can all be prevented! Regular Dental Cleanings at the Vet are very costly, not to mention there is some risk every time your Dog is under Anesthesia. So, a little diligence and routine can save you 100’s to 1000’s in Vet Bills Yearly! I start introducing the toothbrush to them at 6 weeks and by 8-10 weeks they will have an established routine. My Dam has been Embark tested on 200 plus Genetic diseases that use “DNA” for testing and is “Clear” for all potential Genetic Diseases that can be passed on to any “Progeny” I have had her Eyes “OFA” certified. I am Awaiting results yet for “Thyroid” “Dentition” and “Patella’s” and will update on this site when available. Testing was scarce last year due to Covid and I have resumed all testing as it became available. My Dam’s Parentage have been tested as well and are good. I had a Pre-Breed exam performed on my Dam, including Brucellosis and Progesterone Testing and she was found to be in excellent Health & Condition! She continued to have Reproductive care throughout her Pregnancy including Ultrasound, X-Rays and Observation. Her Pregnancy and Labor went extremely well and without incident. Post Whelp her milk came in excellent, and all Puppies have Thrived very well! I Chart “Weigh Ins” twice daily on all Puppies for the first 3 weeks and Daily there after until 8 weeks, and twice a week up to 12 weeks. I feed only Premium quality food to all my Dogs. My Dam has been on “Royal Canin” since she was 3 months of age, and my Puppies will be Weaned on “Royal Canin” x-small Puppy food at the appropriate time. I do not recommend introducing can/wet food before 6 months of age or later, Toy Poodles can “prefer” wet Can food over Dry. The Crunching of a Dry food Diet is important to a balance Diet and for their Teeth. If they only receive Can food in their Diet, tooth decay will be accelerated. When You purchase Your Puppy from Me, You will receive, AKC & CKC Registration Papers for your Puppy. Copies of My Dam’s Registration’s and Pedigree, Copies of Her Health Clearances, A Copy of my Dam’s Certificate of Breed (many Buyers are unaware that people sometimes sell Puppies as full breed’s when they are not) They can look like a full breed and be DNA Tested and find out they are not. You will also receive Your Puppies Health Record and Birth information, A Folder of Important Information about the “Toy Poodle” Breed and Your Puppies Baby & Growth Pictures. I will send each Buyer Home with My “Great Start” Basket full of Premium Goodies including a new unopened bag of “Royal Canin” x-small Puppy Food, over a Month supply!
