Dr. Kyler Gilbreath is originally from Andrews, Texas, he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2021. As an equine veterinarian, Dr. Gilbreath is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports the health, soundness, and long-term performance of his patients. His professional interests include equine lameness and podiatry, with a particular focus on diagnosing the underlying causes of musculoskeletal disorders and developing individualized treatment plans to optimize each horse's comfort and athletic potential. He values building strong relationships with horse owners, trainers, farriers, and fellow veterinary professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care. He is committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence.

Mesquite Ridge Small Animal Hospital is looking for a friendly, dependable Receptionist to join our team!

Responsibilities include:
• Greeting clients and their pets
• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Checking patients in and out
• Processing payments
• Providing excellent customer service while supporting our veterinary team

What we’re looking for:
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Computer experience
• A team player with a compassionate attitude
• Veterinary or medical office experience is a plus, but not required

Now it’s time to meet Dr. Tait Reininger!!

He is originally from Tyler, Texas. After high school, he attended Texas A&M University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Animal Science before going on to graduate from Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Reininger enjoys mixed animal practice and has a special interest in small animal orthopedic surgery. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and bass fishing.

He is excited to join the communities at Peak Performance Equine Hospital and Mesquite Ridge Small Animal Hospital and looks forward to meeting all of our wonderful clients and patients.

Meet Dr. Alaina Williams!!

She is originally from Azle, TX. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University, where she was a member of the rodeo team and ranch horse team and worked at a large equine clinic. She went on to graduate from Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Williams can be found at both Peak Performance Equine Hospital and Mesquite Ridge Small Animal Hospital. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, with special interests in equine reproduction, small animal internal medicine, and surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Williams enjoys showing reined cow horses, raising Standard Australian Shepherd puppies, getting involved in her local church and community, and spending time with friends and family.

Small Animal Kennel Technician Responsibilities:

* Feed, walk, and care for hospitalized and boarding pets
* Clean and disinfect kennels and treatment areas
* Monitor pets for changes in behavior or health
* Assist the medical team as needed
* Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming hospital

Thank you to everyone who attended our Open House Event. Our clients are like family, thank you for showing up and showing out. We would not be who or what we are, without you.

A huge piece of Peak Performance and Mesquite Ridge are headed to Kansas in a short 3 weeks. We want to thank Dr. Erin Imel and Dr. Matt Imel for absolutely everything they have done for the clinic, for their dedication to their clients and patients, and for their support to their staff.
