Today we watched the solar eclipse and all the Chickens were doing their normal things until it was a total eclipse. They huddled up and froze. When the sun came out again they were very confused. Dexter crowed and they all did their normal day things again. -LUKAS

A note from Pink Hill Pecker's Chief Investment Strategist and Dad of Lukas: We are getting ready to have eggs to sell. They've laid about three dozen now and are producing more and more each day. I can honestly say they're the best-tasting eggs I've ever had--the yolks are a deep yellow/orange color and extremely flavorful. Far better than anything I've bought from the store, and we splurge for the good ones there.

They're still slightly on the small side, so we'll probably give it a week or two before we start offering them for sale. Queue up now; they won't last!

Dexter and the hens love leftovers, talking and chasing things around the yard. Dexter has been chasing us around the yard and attacking us. He attacked my Mom a few days ago. He has been very aggressive. He thinks he's boss. There's no eggs yet. -LUKAS
