But, Diane Keaton was a devoted dog lover who strongly advocated for dog adoption and animal welfare. She was known for adopting stray dogs throughout her life, including her golden retriever, Reggie, and used her platform to promote animal welfare through organizations like the Helen Woodward Animal Center.
