We apologize for being so late for our Thank You post for our Annual Spaghetti Dinner that was held in early May. We could not do all that we do for these animals without the wonderful support of the community. We want to thank the Grafton Bearcat football team, TCMS boys soccer team and our wonderful supporters Amara and Bella for waiting tables all day, and all the many other volunteers who helped that day. We especially would like to thank the Church of the Good Shepherd for allowing us to invade their wonderful building. Many awesome raffle baskets, wreaths and gifts were donated for the dinner. We served approximately 420 dinners and cleared almost $8000.00 from the dinner, raffles, t-shirts, bake sale and donations. The money we raise helps to pay for medical needs, spay and neutering of every dog that comes through our doors, plus monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventative, dog food(including specialty foods) and treats, and also assistance with community spay or neuter vouchers for cats and dogs.
Again, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us to care for these most vulnerable animals.
We loved seeing some of our alumni dogs return to visit us.
We encourage you to stop by the shelter and see what needs to be done on a daily basis and volunteer your time if only for a few hours a month. Volunteers are at the shelter between 9-12 on Saturday and Sunday and holidays.
With a little glimpse into the future:
We are bringing back โBarktoberfestโ in October. More details to followโฆโฆ.
Thanks again from all of the pups at the shelter! ๐พโค๏ธ๐พ. ๐พโค๏ธ๐พ
